Downhole monitoring of offshore water injector well
In this project we have been working to significantly reduce the cost for the fibre optic deployment on offshore platforms. This is to demonstrate the economic added value of downhole monitoring even for low-cost wells respectively low volume producing wells. |

Permanent Downhole Temperature Sensing - A Success Even for Low Cost Wells
In a pilot project initiated by Shell International Exploration and Production (SIEP) with contributions of LIOS Technology the feasibility and economic added value of permanent downhole temperature sensing have been successfully demonstrated in a number of recently deployed on- and offshore projects. The generic design and implementation of an exemplary case study for permanent DTS downhole sensing of low-cost land-wells is presented. |
